Chapter 2: A New Journey Begins. The Forbidden Haunts: A Dare into the Darkness – Paranormal Adventure Thriller Web Novel.

The bustling atmosphere of Kolkata Airport buzzed around Alan and Adib as they waited for their flight to be called. Luggage carts rattled by, families reunited, and travelers hurried along, lost in their own worlds. Yet, amid the chaos, there was a poignant air of finality as Alan and Adib prepared to leave.

Ava arrived, her face a canvas painted with mixed emotions—happiness for their journey ahead but sadness at the thought of them leaving. She approached them, her heart heavy.

“Goodbye, Adib,” she said, offering him a warm smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes.

“Goodbye, Ava. Thanks for everything,” Adib replied, his voice steady but laced with the unspoken words of their friendship.

Then, she turned to Alan. Her gaze softened as she stepped closer, wrapping her arms around him tightly. “Take care, okay?” she whispered, her voice quavering ever so slightly.

Alan felt an ache in his chest; the warmth of her hug lingered, and he wished he could say more, but the words were stuck in his throat. Instead, he nodded, swallowing the knot of emotion. “I will,” he managed, his voice almost a whisper. He watched her step back, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

With one last look, Ava turned and walked away, a bittersweet smile basking on her face. Alan and Adib exchanged glances, each silently grappling with the weight of their feelings.

Once they were seated on the plane, the welcoming air hostess ushered them aboard, her bright smile feeling like a glimpse of normalcy amid the lingering tension. The engines roared to life, and as the plane began its journey into the sky, Alan sank back into his seat, thoughts racing.

After a few moments of silence, Adib turned to Alan, an impish grin lighting up his face. “So, funny thing. Last night, Ava messaged me on WhatsApp.”

“Oh?” Alan perked up, curiosity piqued.

“Yeah,” Adib said, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “She told me she thinks she’s in love with you.”

Alan’s heart skipped a beat. “What? Why didn’t you tell me?”

Adib chuckled, shaking his head. “Because I thought you didn’t feel the same way—and Ava specifically forbade me to inform you.”

Alan’s smile grew wide, excitement bubbling up inside him. “I do have feelings for her, Adib! Why didn’t I realize it sooner?”

“Well, now you know!” Adib exclaimed, his enthusiasm infectious. “You should call her later.”

Then, Adib leaned back in his seat, suddenly breaking into song: “So I say a little prayer...”

“Hold up, hold up!” Alan chimed in playfully. “You’re not going to get your karaoke start with that!”

Adib waved him off, grinning like the cat that ate the canary. “Know my dreams will take me there—where skies are blue... see you once again!” His adamant rendition had Alan laughing, shaking his head.

“Seriously, how do you think that air hostess feels about you?” Alan teased, a smirk playing on his lips.

Adib’s eyes widened in mock disbelief. “Me? She likes me?”

“Yes! She looked at you a million times, especially when you were singing!” Alan chuckled, enjoying this lighthearted banter.

“Alan???? You started again!” Adib exclaimed, dramatically collapsing back into his seat, laughter spilling from both their lips.

As the plane soared high above the clouds, Alan realized that this adventure was just beginning. With the embers of hope ignited in his heart, he resolved to make things right with Ava. Who knew—maybe love awaited them just as brightly as the sun that glittered against the vast, blue sky above.

Chapter 15: The Defiance of a Mortal. Supernatural & Dark Fantasy Manga Web Novel - Crimson High: The Blood Pact by Abrar Nayeem Chowdhury

The Loom trembled. The battlefield was frozen in silence—no wind, no movement, no breath. The Oldest Weaver was gone, unwritten by a force older than existence, a force that now stood face-to-face with the one who had dared to rewrite fate itself. The Forgotten Weaver, formless and eternal, had posed a single question: "Will you give it back?" And now, all of creation waited for Riku Kurobane’s answer. Riku’s fingers curled into fists. His sigil pulsed, not with fear, but with the weight of choice. Kaito and Reina stood far behind him, barely able to stay upright in the gravity of the Forgotten Weaver’s presence. Kaito whispered, stunned: "Riku… You’re actually thinking of saying no?" Reina stepped forward, her voice shaking: "This thing isn’t just powerful—it’s beyond power. You can’t fight it. No one can." But Riku’s gaze didn’t waver. He stared up at the shifting, abstract form of the Forgotten Weaver and exhaled slowly. "I won’t ...

Chapters: 16-25. The Supernatural & Dark Fantasy Manga Web Novel - CRIMSON HIGH: THE BLOOD PACT by Abrar Nayeem Chowdhury

Chapter 16: A Thread to Cut, A Fate to Choose It was, indeed, a scene such as no mortal writer might compose with mere pen and ink—a realm torn asunder by the conflicts of gods and ghosts, of fate's architects and its would-be inheritors. The sky, now stripped of its azure grace, resembled a canvas of pale silk drenched in the remnants of a celestial inkpot. Ragged clouds, frayed at their edges like a lady’s well-worn lace shawl, floated aimlessly overhead, as if the heavens themselves observed this strange theatre of fate with breath held and threads fraying. A bitter wind swept through the ruins of Crimson High, tugging at fractured archways and whistling through the hollowed bones of towers, as if mourning the innocent design the world once bore. The ground lay veiled in soot and memory, and the very air was perfumed by ash and consequence. Riku Kurobane stood at the centre of this desolate court—unmoved by the flickering of time around him, unflinching beneath the unravellin...

Part D: SCREW THIS! WE’RE LEAVING—RIGHT NOW! Alan’s entire body was locked in place. His breath hitched in his throat, his muscles refusing to obey his desperate urge to run. The hand gripping his wrist was ice-cold, its tiny fingers unnaturally tight, as if made of stone. His heartbeat pounded in his ears like a war drum. Thud. Thud. Thud. His vision blurred for a moment, his mind screaming at him to look at whatever had grabbed him. But something deep inside warned him—don’t turn around. Don’t look. Ava and Adib stood frozen, their faces pale as they stared at his arm. Ava: (whispering) "Alan… who is that?" Alan tried to respond, but his voice failed him. The air around him felt heavier like he was sinking into an invisible abyss. Then, the whisper came again. Child’s voice: "Stay with me…" The voice was soft, almost pleading, but there was something off about it—something wrong. It echoed inside his head, distorting like a broken radio signal. Alan’s fingers tw...
